Dr. Zakariya Champa, DC
Dr. Zakariya (Zak) Champa received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA. One day, while playing football, he injured his lower back and couldn’t walk for two weeks. He found a Gonstead Chiropractor who helped him eliminate all pain in the first two adjustments. This inspired him to pursue chiropractic as a career to help others experience being freed from pain.
He is a passionate Chiropractor at Intero Chiropractic, where he is known for his precise adjustments and warm smile. Dr. Zak is on a mission to meet all types of people and get them to a better qualify of life.
He’s attended more than 250 hours of Gonstead seminars so that he can remain focused on improving the health of patients and applying the Gonstead technique to transform their lives. In his free time he enjoys basketball, tennis, golf, billiards and taking hikes in nature or spending time with family.
Dr. Michael Chang, DC
Dr. Michael earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA, graduating with honors as a member of Pi Tau Delta. Originating from Taiwan, he is fluent in both Mandarin and Taiwanese. His educational journey also includes a Bachelor of Sports Medicine from Chinese Medical University in Taiwan.
Having played baseball since high school, chiropractic was pivotal in helping him overcome the numerous injuries sustained both on the field and in daily life. These experiences fueled his passion for the field and led him to pursue a career where he could offer the same relief and support to others.
Dedicated to his craft, Dr. Michael has invested over 100 hours in Gonstead seminars, aiming to refine his skills and deepen his understanding of this specific chiropractic technique.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Michael enjoys staying active and engaged through hobbies such as playing baseball and basketball, golfing, and relaxing while watching TV shows.
Dr. Carlos Leyva, DC
Dr. Carlos graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2020, following his studies in Anthropology and Legal Studies at UC Santa Cruz in 2012. Born in Palm Springs, CA, and fluent in both English and Spanish, his path to chiropractic was deeply personal. Witnessing his mother's long struggle with back pain after a work-related injury in 2001, Dr. Carlos initially aspired to become an attorney to support her legally. However, the limitations of legal remedies and a desire to make a more direct impact on people's health led him to pursue a career in chiropractic instead.
His goal as a chiropractor is to provide lasting relief and elevate the standard of care by truly listening to patients and improving their mobility and function. Understanding the value of movement from his mother's experience, Dr. Carlos is passionate about helping others regain and appreciate their ability to move freely.
Dr. Carlos has received special training in the Gonstead technique, aligning with his commitment to offer precise and effective chiropractic care. Outside the clinic, he enjoys watching anime, reading psychology books, hiking and camping, exploring coffee shops, and conducting research. He also loves running with his German Shepherd around the lake, embracing an active lifestyle that mirrors the mobility and freedom he seeks for his patients.
Dr. Megan Cameron, DC
Dr. Megan Cameron is a highly educated and experienced chiropractor. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida, after obtaining a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology from SUNY Brockport.
Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, Dr. Cameron was inspired to pursue a career in chiropractic after a chiropractor visited one of her classes and spoke about the benefits of chiropractic care.
Since then, Dr. Cameron has undergone extensive training in the Gonstead technique and continues to expand her knowledge and understanding in this area, having completed over 200 hours of training. She is also certified in the Webster technique.
Dr. Cameron has a particular passion for working with expectant mothers and children, striving to promote healthy births and healthier childhoods through chiropractic care.
In her leisure time, Dr. Cameron enjoys beachgoing, sunbathing, and watching soccer.
Dr. Christopher Nguyen, DC
Dr. Christopher Nguyen earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life College of Chiropractic West in Hayward, CA, and holds a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science from Rutgers University, New Jersey. His personal experience with chronic neck and back pain led him to the Gonstead technique, which provided relief when traditional methods could not. Passionate about this effective approach, Dr. Nguyen deepened his expertise through an intensive mentoring program and continuous training with Dr. Wood, a direct pupil of Dr. Gonstead himself.
In the office, Dr. Christopher is known for his meticulous application of the Gonstead technique and his commitment to improving patients' quality of life. Outside the office, he focuses on fitness, particularly exercises that enhance his golf game, reflecting his belief in the importance of mobility and strength. Dr. Nguyen’s journey from patient to practitioner fuels his dedication to helping others experience the transformative power of chiropractic care.
Dr. Fiona Cheung, DC
Dr. Fiona Cheung received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA. She was born and raised in Hong Kong and moved to the United States when she was 14. She can speak fluent Cantonese and Mandarin.
She received a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Biology from University of California, Davis. Her interest in the field of healthcare began at a very early age, she came across chiropractic care one day and decided she wanted to become a chiropractor so she could help a lot more people.
Her mission is to improve the quality of life through the power of chiropractic. She has accumulated 200+ hours of additional training in the Gonstead System and has been continuing to improve her knowledge in the great Gonstead work. She works hard and plays hard. In her free time, she loves to play badminton and do all kinds of outdoor activities.

Dr. Ivan earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from LifeWest Chiropractic College in Hayward, CA. Raised in San Jose, CA, and fluent in Spanish, Dr. Ivan has a deep connection to his community. His passion for chiropractic care was sparked during a service trip to Mexico City, where he adjusted over 150 patients using the Gonstead technique, solidifying his commitment to natural healing.
Prior to his chiropractic career, Dr. Ivan completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at San Jose State University. His own journey of healing through chiropractic care, following years of soccer injuries, inspired him to pursue a path of helping others through the Gonstead chiropractic method. Dedicated to restoring optimal health and function, Dr. Ivan actively participates in ongoing education through seminars and enjoys golf, soccer, and hiking in his free time.

Dr. Andrew Apuya, a graduate of Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA, brings a unique blend of personal experience and professional dedication. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada, Dr. Apuya initially pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in General Science at the University of Manitoba. His journey into chiropractic care was sparked by personally dealing with severe low back pain and muscle spasms. The remarkable improvement he experienced through chiropractic care, including relief from headaches, muscle spasms, and enhanced sleep and digestion, motivated him to help others achieve a similar transformation in their health.
With over 200 hours of specialized seminars, Dr. Apuya has honed his skills in the Gonstead technique. His goal is simple: to improve the quality of life for his patients through the power of chiropractic care. In his free time, Dr. Apuya enjoys exploring new foods, going to the beach, listening to music, and practicing hip hop dance.
